COVID-19 Reopening plan
Riders must be able to mount and dismount independently
Rider must be comfortable wearing a mask at all times
Riders must be able to ride independently OR one household member may walk on the opposite side of the horse leader.
Riders must ALL complete the participation form and COVID-19 waiver prior to starting classes. The waiver is included in the registration forms.
Only one family member or guardian is allowed to observe or assist with lessons. All other people accompanying rider must remain in the car.
Volunteers must wear a mask at all times
Volunteers must be leaders to work with the riders (no sidewalkers at this time)
Other volunteer options may be available for volunteers who are not able to lead or work with riders
All volunteers must fill out the COVID19 waiver included in the volunteer registration prior to volunteering at the center.
FACILITY SAFETY PLAN
All instructors and staff will wear masks when within 6 feet of riders and volunteers
Class sizes will be reduced so that horses can be spread out to maintain distance
Spots will be marked on the driveway for participants to stand
Helmets, tack and any shared equipment will be thoroughly sanitized between each class and after each day of lessons
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the arena and barn
